Help VLF raise awareness of the Public Interest Fellowship by hosting a Facebook fundraiser in 8 easy steps.
- Pick an occasion to customize your fundraiser to show how important access to legal service is to you (e.g. your birthday, to celebrate a memory or anniversary, #givingtuesday, holidays, etc…).
- Set a fundraising goal of any amount that you think might be attainable for your network.
- If you’re new to social media, try an initial goal of $200.
- If your network is established, try an initial goal of $2,000 or more by tapping into your extensive network.
- Or, choose an amount that is significant to you (e.g. age, years in practice, etc…).
- Once your fundraiser is set up, you can share and post updates about your goals. Facebook donations are directly transferred to VLF so there is no follow-up or paperwork needed.
