WHIAAPI Community Dialogue with Vietnamese American Workers

On February 10th at 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the Tully Branch Library, the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders’ Northern California Regional Network,  Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California Law Foundation and Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus will host a community dialogue inviting Vietnamese immigrant workers and advocates to discuss worker rights related issues.

The goals of the event are two-fold:

  1. to hear from workers on their experiences in the workplace with enforcement agencies and community based organizations and to educate them on their workplace rights and
  2. for participating enforcement agencies and community partners, to learn about workplace issues affecting the communities they serve and in turn improve outreach efforts.

Space is limited, please RSVP with VABANC Law Foundation Fellow David Ta at davidt@advancingjustice-alc.org, or (415) 848-7755.
